Chief Financial Officer – Mr Mac Irvine
Jet Zero Australia Pty Ltd is pleased to announce Mr Mac Irvine will join the company as Chief Financial Officer, based in Brisbane.
Mac was Investment Director at the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) where for the past eight years, he led amongst other things, CEFC’s investments in industrials, bioenergy and the circular economy.
Mac has extensive experience in corporate and project financing, deal structuring, procurement, and strategy and execution, both domestically and internationally across a variety of sectors, including renewable energy, power and utilities, infrastructure, and property.
In addition to CEFC, Mac previously held investment banking and financial advisory roles at Barclays and KPMG in the UK. Mac completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Commerce (Finance) at the University of Queensland. Mac is also a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
With Mac joining the executive team as CFO, Mark Freeman will take on responsibilities as Finance Director and Company Secretary.
Board Appointment – Mr Rick Koumouris
Jet Zero Australia is also pleased to announce Mr Rick Koumouris has formally joined the board as Non-Executive Director. In August 2023, Rick joined Jet Zero Australia as Advisor to the Board to assist with decisions being made in relation to engineering, licencing, and project execution.
Rick has spent most of his career in the Americas managing global businesses, and major capex programs at Fluor Corporation, a leading multibillion dollar global engineering and construction contractor. He has had a distinguished career in engineering, construction and project management and importantly has worked on multibillion dollar new technology projects across industries such as Mining, Life Sciences, Energy, and Digital Infrastructure.
He is currently a senior advisor to Boston Consulting Group and will continue to assist the Board and Project Management team with decisions in relation to project development.
