The award of $14 million in Commonwealth and Queensland government funding, will help take our Townsville-based Project Ulysses through front-end-engineering-design (FEED) stage into final investment decision (FID).
Jet Zero Australia’s sustainable aviation fuel is expected to service not only the purchasing commitment from our domestic partner Qantas, but to eventually respond to surging international demand.
The project will bring about an estimated 100 full-time jobs and up to 1,000 construction jobs per project, with strong supply chain connections to other domestic industries employing 350,000 people across sectors.
The strategic location of Project Ulysses in Townsville speaks to our mission to upskill and evolve the communities in which we operate.
