Renewable Fuels Meets Queensland Parliament: More Support for Bioenergy

Underneath the stunning backdrop of the Brisbane skyline, the bioenergy industry joined together with parliamentarians and other government leaders this week for a very successful Renewable Fuels Meets Queensland Parliament event on the Green Deck of Parliament House.

Rousing speeches in support of the Queensland bioenergy industry were delivered by Leanne Linard MP, Minister for the Environment & the Great Barrier Reef and Deb Frecklington MP, Shadow Minister for Energy and Cost of Living & Shadow Minister for Regional Development and Manufacturing, which showcased the breath of support for the bioenergy opportunity.

Jet Zero Australia CEO Ed Mason’s address focused on the need for industry and policymakers in Queensland to continue to explore ways to promote the growth of the SAF sector in order to cement Queensland’s status as the bioenergy leader of the Asia-Pacific region.

As our industry body, a big thanks must go to Bioenergy Australia for hosting such a successful event this year and we look forward to many more to come.
